After contacting Classical
Glass to order stained glass
panels, a client will meet with Phil Ertel to determine where
they would like stained glass. Stained glass panels can be
made for transom windows above doors, sidelights next to doors,
bathroom windows, skylights, panels for overhead lighting,
and interior openings. Phil will get a sense of the style
of pattern that is desired and then draw it. He will make
changes if necessary until the client is satisfied.
Phil
and the client will choose glass, and Phil will construct
and install the panel or panels. Insulated units (stained
glass panel sealed between two pieces of clear glass) will
be constructed if desired.
Price
is determined by size of the panel, intricacy of the pattern,
method of construction (copper foil or lead, zinc or brass
came), and ease of installation. Phil can provide estimates
giving a range of price over the phone. Click
