The basic lead came stained glass class introduces
students to the lead came method of constructing a stained glass panel. A brief introduction about stained glass, the making of stained glass, and the types of stained glass will be given. The basic tools needed and their uses and precautions will be discussed. The students construct one stained glass panel from the patterns provided by Phil Ertel. Phil will provide the tools for student use, the materials for constructing the panel, including came and glass, the use of grinders and soldering irons. Students are welcome to bring their own tools if they already have them.
